Vinyl Shoppe is a slice-of-life based illustration/publication project that documents the daily occurrences of a variety of abstract and surreal characters within a record store, exploring themes that delve into how music affects our daily lives and what impact it has on our society as a whole.

Through these illustrations I aim to explore different aspects of image-based narrative, focusing more on character actions rather than words (in a ‘show, don’t tell’ fashion). While each of the characters are not direct representations of actual people, they do reflect upon the various subcultures, behaviors and hobbies of different people in an exaggerated and cartoonish way.

This is Part 2 of that project, which is a poster compiled of various albums that would be found in either music stores, the internet or streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
